This book is packed great information and lots of pictures. It is so much fun to look at and learn so much! I also bought one for my sister because I thought it was so well put together. It was just interesting. But I still think you should be very careful when you go out into nature. Being in nature Is not the same thing is going to Disney world where everything is tested for safety. This book helps you be aware of different problems you may face. ——And how would you know when there are so many different things That are important to be aware of and so many things can happen?
This is a great junior version of the detailed, and thick, second edition of Camping and Wilderness Survival. This is an excellent book filled with thousands of color images and drawings and full of information in 225 pages. For those who don't want to go into extreme detail, this book is a great choice because you will find the essential, and then some, info with ease. If you are interested in the outdoors, then I highly recommend Wilderness Camping and Hiking.
Nice book but really thin for the content. It's more an illustrated book with light text rather than text with illustrations. My grandson loves it, many flora and fauna pictures. Some really good information in the book. The text is pretty small though.Overall a nice addition. Think of it as a primer.
This is an awesome book for those who enjoy surviving the outdoors. Bought it for my 14 yr old son and he loves it.

I love the wilderness and grew up in the country. My father taught me alot about living in the woods and camping, but there are so much more in these books than you could ever imagine!
Nice overview of almost anything you would want to know relating to camping / outdoors. The only downside is that it covers everything in one book meaning it doesn't go into super great detail. Nice place to start for most things.
